These stories may be difficult and challenging, but they are crucial for understanding and addressing the issues that shape our world.
Episode 5: The NHI - Cure or Curse? (Part 1)
Just Balance directs our burning questions on the NHI with Prof Nicholas Crisp, Deputy Director General for South Africa’s National Health Insurance. This 3-part episode addresses the elephant in the room: Corruption. We also tackle the affordability factor - Treasury's R1.4 billion allocation - the Cost of Medical aids vs the NHI - what does 'comprehensive cover' really means, and what the NHI will truly provide in the 'future'.
